Wordly Wise

The mind’s garden is fertile
As we sow, so shall we reap
A good seed produces a smile
A bad one makes us weep

Resentment leads to anger
Prejudice promotes hatred
Fear is a synonym for danger
Guilt kills before we’re dead

Doubts raise uncertainty
Envy is the root of pain
Blame generates toxicity
Is there anything we gain?

To avoid a harvest of weeds
We must plant noble seeds
Like those of genuine love
Blessed with grace from above

Love dissolves all sadness
Helps us deal with madness
Wipes away all the gloom
Causes the garden to bloom

So what would we rather breed,
A love seed or a hostile weed?

The past is a trail left behind
The future cannot be defined
Only the present is aligned
with my heart, soul and mind

Life is not a throw of dice
For I have the gift of choice
I can either be sad or rejoice
Be silent or air my voice

I pray for having the wisdom
The vision and the freedom
To seek God’s rich kingdom
Over plain Earthly stardom

I don’t belong to this world
That has from eons whirled
Keeping me coiled and curled
Now it’s time I unfurled

Infinity is my destination
My journey’s ultimate station
All else is a false notion
Only my ego’s perception

So I’ll give up my past, I vow
And future’s course I’ll allow
While I choose the eternal now
In the company of the Tao

An inexplicable energy
flows through me
An indefinable feeling
surging like sea

A miraculous power
augments my core
A magical touch
boosts it some more

A sacred flame
ignites the soul
A blissful glow
lights up the whole

What a blessing it is
to be the chosen one
How divine I feel
to be HIS beloved son

Travelling in time,
Can I step into a parallel universe?
Drifting in space,
Can I escape this life of a curse?

Delving deeper,
Can I decode what is THE plan?
Probing further,
Can I measure the distance to span?

Leaving this plane,
Can I fly into the endless sky?
Shunting this soil,
Can I gain the view of a bird’s eye?

Releasing all,
Can I end this existential course?
Liberating me,
Can I unite with the ultimate source?
